Hotspot
A naturally arising hub in a network. As opposed to a hub that must be referenced because of permanent limitations of dependent connections, it is a hub that tends to be referenced because of superior capabilities over its peers. A decentralized network can have multiple hotspots, and a node may, over time, repeatedly gain and lose hotspot status.
